Description
Contract Management:
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements, including vendor contracts, supply agreements, and licensing arrangements.
- Maintain and organize contract files and ensure proper tracking of contract milestones and expirations.
Compliance:
- Assist in monitoring and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations, industry standards, and other relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct legal research on compliance matters and provide summaries to the legal team.
Litigation Support:
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents for litigation, including discovery, pleadings, and other court filings.
Intellectual Property:
- Assist with managing the company's intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks and patents.
- Conduct research on intellectual property matters and assist in the enforcement of the company's IP rights.
General Legal Support:
- Conduct legal research on various matters as needed and provide summaries and recommendations to the legal team.
- Prepare legal documents, forms, and correspondence as requested by the legal team.
- Provide administrative support to the legal department, including scheduling, organizing files, and maintaining records.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration:
- Work closely with other departments such as procurement, finance, and operations to provide legal support and advice.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies, legal studies, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Paralegal certification preferred.
- Minimum [X] years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in the food production or manufacturing industry.
- Strong understanding of contract law, intellectual property, and corporate governance.
- Familiarity with food safety and compliance regulations.
- Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in legal research tools and software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

$48, $58,898.62 per year
