Job Description:
Marketing Specialist for a Cannabis Dispensary


Must Have:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 23 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the cannabis industry or related field.
  • Strong understanding of cannabis regulations and compliance.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms including Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Experience in planning and executing marketing events and promotions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.
  • Strong analytical skills to track and measure marketing campaign performance.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and software such as Google Analytics, Hootsuite, or similar platforms.

Will Do:


  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies to promote the dispensary's products and services.
  • Manage and create content for social media platforms, including posting updates, engaging with followers, and running targeted ad campaigns.
  • Organize and coordinate marketing events, including product launches, educational seminars, and community outreach programs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create promotional materials and campaigns to drive sales and customer acquisition.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools to identify areas for improvement and optimize ROI.
  • Stay uptodate with industry trends, regulations, and competitive landscape to ensure the dispensary's marketing strategies remain innovative and compliant.
  • Work closely with vendors, influencers, and partners to leverage comarketing opportunities and expand brand reach.
  • Manage the marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and track expenses to ensure costeffective campaign execution.
  • Develop relationships with local media, bloggers, and influencers to secure coverage and endorsements for the dispensary.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on marketing activities, campaign results, and upcoming initiatives.


This Marketing Specialist will play a crucial role in enhancing the dispensary's brand awareness, driving customer engagement, and ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the business within the cannabis industry.
