- Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
- 10 years of in-depth experience working in Public Relations in either corporate and/or agency environments, while leading strategic and integrated communications teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work well with senior leaders and collaboratively across an organization with experience working in highly matrixed organizations.
- Strong understanding of media relations, crisis communication, and stakeholder engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft effective messages for diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Experience managing external agencies and consultants.
- Experience developing measurement programs to demonstrate the ROI of public relations efforts.

The Staff Vice President (VP) Public Relations (PR) - Health Benefits, is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing comprehensive communication strategies for our local market commercial and government business units within the organization.
