Motus Logistics is seeking a hungry, motivated and entrepreneurial Sales Executive to join our fast-growing firm.


The Motus Transportation Consultant will prospect high volume freight shippers (LTL, Full Truckload) set appointments, demonstrate our technology platform and develop proposals and cost analysis, provided _from_ customer data based on the customer's needs.

Salesmanship, professionalism and the ability to win new business via an existing network, referrals and cold calling is essential in this position.

The Sales executive must have excellent time management, drive and be a competitive person in nature.


"Previous sales experience in the 3PL / LTL / TL / Supply Chain industry with an emphasis on Technology solutions is required".

Bachelor's degree or the equivalent skills and/or _work_
experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Develop and maintain LTL, FTL & Small Parcel business throughout North America
  • Utilize a consultative sales approach while prospecting for leads to build a pipeline, including heavy coldcalling
  • Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business
  • Succeed at price and service negotiation with prospects
  • Use both traditional and electronic communication tools to make contact with prospective, current and former customers to identify new business opportunities
  • Create quotes and sales proposals for company services
