Primary Function:


  • This role will be responsible for installation, troubleshooting and repairing electronic assemblies and systems. Additional duties may include providing assistance to Engineering Department and production testing.
    Duties and Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoots electronics down to the component level to determine cause and remedy of any malfunction
  • Performs required repairs to return unit to operational state
  • Troubleshoots electrical problems to determine root cause of issue and recommend a corrective action.
  • Sets up and tests units to meet specified requirements.
  • Recognizes failures and set up problems, isolates problems, and takes appropriate action to resolve those problems.
  • Operates oscilloscopes, multi meters, and test fixtures, and understand their use and function.
  • Operates hand tools and small power tools and understands their use and function.
  • Reports all unresolved and/or potential problems that would negatively affect project schedules.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
    Required Education
  • An high school diploma/GED or equivalent
    Required Experience 13 years experience or equivalent experience
  • Good knowledge of industrial equipment.
  • Must have experience using the following equipment: oscilloscopes, multi meters, hand tools, such as soldering irons, hand crimpers, screwdrivers, wrenches, and pliers.
  • Able to read PCB schematic.
