Growing Up at Obici is our licensed and accredited child day care center with a maximum capacity of 120 children age range 1 month - 12 years. We are open from 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., Monday - Friday.

POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Full Time; 40 hours per week
  • Shift primarily will be 7p 7a, every other weekend.
  • Prior inpatient experience is preferred.

As a Mental Health Associate, you will:

  • Perform direct and indirect patient care activities for mental health patients, including technical duties in support of the delivery of nursing care and under supervision of a RN.
  • Lead and cofacilitate educational and activity groups.
  • Assist with milieu management to ensure a safe, therapeutic environment for patients and staff.

Minimum Requirements

Experience

  • One (1) year behavioral health experience required.

License and Certification
-
BLS

Education

  • Bachelor's degree required in Psychology, Sociology, or Education. 4 years of experience in behavioral health setting required in lieu of degree.
  • Crisis Prevention Intervention training within 15 days of hire.
  • Knowledge of basic Medical Terminology and abnormal human behavior.
