*role will require travel responsibilities to other site locations within Raleigh*Salary: $110-$130k
General Duties/Expectations:
Maintains an environment of safety for patients, self and others.
Reviews monthly reports to monitor units. Investigates variances, communicates necessary corrective changes, and tracks action to ensure proper outcome.
Identifies, coordinates and facilitates cost saving/efficiency changes and improvements relating to customer satisfaction, staffing, operations, and expansion.
Monitors inventory and inventory reduction by working with the medical, technical and clerical staff. Maximizes quality and minimizes expenses.
Ensure records and documentation are maintained accurately and legibly for Quality Assurance Program and Quality Improvement Program.
Directs and evaluates the work of clinical, clerical and administrative coworkers. Make recommendations for necessary changes to workflow and resource levels in accordance with departmental and organizational objectives.
Assures coordination of customer throughput and ease of use for diagnostic testing and procedures including scheduling, admissions and documentation for diagnostic procedures.
Evaluates individual coworker performance on a continual basis, provides ongoing coaching/counseling as necessary.Meets periodically with employees to assess professional development needs and provides support as necessary to meet developmental needs.
Plans, coordinate and integrates department's services within department and with others throughout the organization.
Develop and assure the implementation of policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of services.
Coordinates, leads, and participates in performance improvement activities for assigned areas of responsibility.
Serves as primary point of contact for diagnostic site on a weekly basis. Handling and resolving day-to-day issues, workflow and operational improvements.
Represents organization with all referral sources, physicians and community as needed. Communicates effectively with physician liaison concerning new development or problems.
Ability to meet and perform quality control checks of equipment, as well as report need for service.
Responsible for Modality accreditations/certifications, radiation safety, and OSHA standards.
Experience & Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, Business, or a related clinical field (Required).
- Minimum 5 years of healthcare management experience.
- Experience in a multi-site or outpatient imaging environment is highly preferred.
