- Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and acquire new business opportunities within the material handling industry
- Conduct market research to identify the needs of potential customers and develop targeted sales strategies to meet their requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling
- Collaborate within the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies, including pricing, promotions, and product positioning
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers, showcasing the benefits and features of all LiftOne has to offer
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to the management team, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement
- Stay updated with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and maintain a competitive edge
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute targeted campaigns and promotional activities to generate leads and increase brand awareness
- Participate in trade shows, industry conferences, and networking events to expand professional networks and promote our products and services
- Complete a comprehensive 6-month internal training program to gain in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and industry-specific expertise
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field preferred
- 1-2 years experience preferred in sales or account management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers at all levels
- Experience with negotiating and presenting, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of our products and services
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- CRM software and other sales tools experience preferred to manage and track sales activities
- Willingness to undergo a 6-month on-site training program to gain comprehensive knowledge of our products, services, and industry-specific expertise
- Availability to travel as required to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and industry events
- Driving is an essential function of this position and a current valid driver's license must be always maintained.

Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Development Consultant to join our team in the material handling industry. As a Sales Development Consultant, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. This role is a 6-month training program to ensure you are equipped with and have a comprehensive understanding of our products, services, and industry-specific knowledge. Upon successful completion of the program you will move into an outside sales position.
