***The incumbent in this position is responsible for managing the sales of the company's products. Ensures consistent, profitable growth in sales revenues through planning, directing and management of customer service personnel and supporting outsides sales staff. Identifies objectives, strategies, and action plans to improve short and long-term sales and earnings.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Support customers through ongoing communication and resolve complaints regarding sales and service.
  • Oversee, direct, and develop customer service personnel and support outside sales staff.
  • Monitor customer portals and customer forecasts for inventory levels and fluctuations. Communicate fluctuations with internal departments accordingly.
  • Work closely with Production Planners and Purchasing to ensure customer deliveries are met and expedited orders are handled properly.
  • Assist Production Planners and Purchasing with raw material and component requirements; communicate and expedite specifications with Purchasing and/or directly with suppliers.
  • Participate with internal departments to execute flawless launch of new programs.
  • Monitor and report monthly revenue.
  • Assist customer service personnel with resolving complex customer issues and implementing targeted solutions.
  • Prepare monthly and yearly sales forecasts.
  • Monitor and adjust sales forecasts as needed.
  • Participate in production planning activities allocating resources and employees, and materials and production capacity to accommodate new customer programs and/or change existing ones.
  • Review and report customer scorecards and address concerns with actions and assign responsibilities.
  • Report customer complaints and work collaboratively with the Quality Department to resolve quality issues.
  • Recruit, onboard and train new employees to the department.
  • Evaluate job performances of direct reports.
  • Adhere to EMS and IATF 16949 Policies and Procedures.
  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Ability to proficiently use various companyrelated and external systems and databases.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal/external personnel, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ability to proficiently operate office technology and equipment (e.g., computer systems).
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet time sensitive deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and manage several projects simultaneously.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or businessrelated studies; or the equivalent workrelated experience in sales and/or customer service.
  • Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years of progressively responsible sales management and/or customer service experience.
  • Proven ability to motivate and lead a customer service team.
  • Must have problemsolving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.
