    Position Description: As a Visual Consultant, you will be responsible for executing design solutions that meet client and project requirements. This role entails advanced design skills, proficiency in relevant software, and active participation in project management. Collaboration with internal teams and clients on medium to large-scale projects to deliver high-quality visual outputs is key.

    All candidates must submit an online portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including branding, web and mobile interface design, data visualizations, infographics, and interactive media.

    Requirements

    What You'll Do:

    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Suite, Google Suite.
    • Experience with prototyping software like Figma or InVision.
    • Understanding of HTML/CSS.

    Skills in Strategic Communication:

    • Effective written and verbal communication.
    • Ability to explain visual design choices and incorporate feedback.

    Product Development and Design:

    Our product design ranges from small-scale items to extensive projects like branding and strategic roadmapping, emphasizing high-standard deliverables like data visualizations, interactive presentations, and comprehensive user experience services.

    • Create and deliver quality design concepts and final outputs.
    • Facilitate design meetings for collaboration and quality assurance.

    Combining Change Management Consulting with Data-Backed Design:

    • Conduct research for data visualizations, client solutions, and strategies.
    • Create detailed client presentations following visual quality standards.

    Business Development Expectations and Responsibilities:

    • Contribute to organizational goals and proposals.
    • Support client relationships and account growth.
    • Provide design solutions to meet client needs and ensure satisfaction.

    Individual Growth: Commit to continuous learning and professional development in design and related fields, embracing challenges and constructive feedback.

    Market-facing Presence and Design Trend Awareness:

    • Explore design trends and engage with online communities for professional development.
    • Stay updated on industry advancements through events and research.

    What You'll Bring:

    • 4 years of design-related experience.
    • Bachelor's degree in a design-related field.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Experience in project management and problem-solving.
    • Active listening and critical thinking abilities.
    • Strong organizational and analytical skills.
    • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
    • Willingness to travel occasionally.

    Physical and Mental Requirements:

    This role may involve travel, evening/weekend work, effective communication, computer proficiency, and mild physical exertion. Sedentary work primarily with occasional walking, climbing, and standing. Mental demands include judgment, stress management, and attention to detail.
