Company & Position Summary
The Financial Planning Analyst will support the VP of Financial Operations in two primary areas:
Forecast Division financial operations, Company Cash Flow, and Land Acquisition financial results.
Preparation and analysis of operational reports.
Principal Duties & Accountabilities
Financial and Inventory forecasting at the community, division, and company level
Preparation and analysis of cash flow to include historical and future spending for homes under construction and overhead expenses
Land acquisition financial analysis
Reporting on items such as future land acquisitions and inventory homes
Monitoring housing margins
Consulting on division capital allocations, cash flow, sales volume, product pricing and production costs, overhead and capital expenditures
Education Requirements
Bachelors degree required in either Accounting or Finance.
Job Knowledge, Skills & Experience
At least 3 years of professional experience responsible for financial analysis in a real estate company.
Advanced EXCEL experience and exposure to Essbase and BRIX is highly desirable.
Adaptive and resilient interpersonal skills to deal with a broad spectrum of personnel.
Accepts accountability and autonomy willingly.
Takes ownership and works independently in a culture of performance and execution.
The ability to think creatively and improvise to find solutions.
