Description

A seasonal concession stand worker is responsible for operating and handling the activities at a designated concession stand.

His or her work responsibilities may differ slightly depending on the place of commission but mostly, concession stand workers' duties include s cleaning and maintaining indoor and outdoor concession areas, operating a cash register and receiving money and giving correct change.

Preparing and serving food and drink items to patrons, and taking inventory prior to and after each shift. Standing, bending, stooping reaching, walking, sitting and lifting and carrying concession supplies. Other duties may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements:
Must be sixteen (16) years of age or older. Ability to serve food and maintain facility and equipment to Health Department Standards. Ability to report to work as scheduled and notify the appropriate individuals in advance if unable to work. Ability to work a flexible schedule of weekends and weeknights required. Knowledge of or the ability to learn how to operate a cash register and computer with cash drawer. Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions. Ability to work with mínimal daily supervision. Ability to learn and follow City policies and regulations.
