    Job Description


    AECOM is seeking a Bridge Inspector at the Phoenix, Arizona office to perform routine, in-depth, fracture critical, tunnel, and canal inspections.

    Inspections may include use of snooper trucks, bucket trucks, boats, and/or man lifts.


    This opportunity can include bridge design work and the ability to complete design related tasks with a clear understanding of Arizona DOT, regional and municipal standards is applicable to the responsibilities of this position.

    Qualifications


    Minimum Qualifications:

    • BA/BS 2 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
    • Ability to pass MVR check.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 3 years' experience of bridge inspection and/or bridge design experience
    • EIT highly preferred
    • AASHTOWare Bridge Rating (BrR) experience
    • AASHTOWare Bridge Management experience
    • FHWA-NHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges Certification
    • FHWA-NHI Fracture Critical Inspection Techniques for Steel Bridges Certification
    • FHWA-NHI Tunnel Safety Inspection Certification
    • Experience operating snooper trucks, bucket trucks, and man lifts

    Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications. The expected range is $73, $104,000.00.
