    Description

    Sourcing Specialist needed for a Top American Utilities Company

    • Specialist Level
    • Philadelphia, PA or Baltimore, MD Based (3 days a week onsite)
    • $65,000 - $72,000 plus bonus

    One of the nation's premier Utilities company's is looking for a Sourcing Specialist to join their rapidly expanding Sourcing Team

    The Sourcing Specialist will utilize their procurement and sourcing skills to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans for various materials and services. The candidate will play a critical role in reducing risks and managing costs through implementing strategic sourcing objectives. This is a great opportunity to join a company where you can further develop your skills and grow within the organization

    The Sourcing Specialist will have the following responsibilities:

    • Put fourth sourcing activities related to the purchase of materials or services.
    • Assist the work plan and outage schedule requirements for materials and services requirements.
    • Aid and support communication across business unites, and with suppliers, to successfully source and purchase materials and services.
    • Assist the implementation of supply chain monitoring activities through the use of KPI's and trend analysis.
    • Create & manager RFP's, bid analysis, facilitate Q&A between suppliers and business patterns during a bid event.

    The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 1-3 + years' experience of procurement/ strategic sourcing
    • Must have driven mindset & a passion for procurement
