JOB DESCRIPTION:
The mission of the New York City Police Department is to enhance the quality of life in New York City by working in partnership with the community to enforce the law, preserve peace, protect the people, reduce fear, and maintain order. The NYPD strives to foster a safe and fair city by incorporating Neighborhood Policing into all facets of Department operations, and solve the problems that create crime and disorder through an interdependent relationship between the people and its police, and by pioneering strategic innovation.
The Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) supports the Department by acquiring, distributing, installing and maintaining Local Area Networks, personal computers, mainframe computers, software, and data communications networks. ITSD also plans and coordinates the implementation of advanced technology.
The selected Computer Associate (Software) III will:
Develop table, Store procedures, SQL Functions and other SQL objects on SQL Server.-
Staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends, continuously enhancing technical skills.
Excellent communication (oral and written), Interpersonal, organization, and analytical skills.

Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently and enthusiastic to learn new technologies.
Familiarity with tools such as TFS/Devops Server, and Service Now.
Experience in working for a large municipal government agency.
