SHOAL CREEK ESTATES COUNTY ADMINISTRATION The Shoal Creek Estates County Administration is currently seeking a full-time (39 hours per week), permanent Doctor for the Social Psychiatry Department to serve as Head of Department (m/f/d).

Part-time options are also available.

Responsibilities include providing guidance and support to individuals with mental illness and their social environment as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as reviewing, initiating, and implementing measures according to the Psychiatric Hospital Law.

Other duties include providing professional advice and psychiatric training to other public agencies, as well as representing the department in committees and public relations activities.

The role also involves conducting medical assessments and preparing psychiatric reports for courts, prosecutors, and other authorities.

The successful candidate will have a medical degree and ideally be a specialist in psychiatry or have equivalent training and experience in the field.

They should also possess strong communication and organizational skills, as well as intercultural competence and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A valid driver's license is required.

We offer competitive compensation according to pay scale groups 14 or 15 of the Collective Agreement for the Public Service (TVöD), depending on qualifications, as well as company health promotion and pension plans.

We also provide performance-based pay according to § 18 TVöD and opportunities for regular specialized training.
