    Description

    Overview

    We are looking for a Contract Software Engineer who has experience working on Python applications and developing integrations against RESTful APIs to join our team. The ideal candidate should have proficiency in Python code, knowledge of front-end technologies like React or Angular, and experience with integrations using platforms like Workato. As a Contract Software Engineer, you will collaborate with product engineering teams to enhance our cutting-edge digital platform.

    Responsibilities

    • Implement integrations with third-party services and vendors to the Numerated Lending platform.
    • Develop back-end functionalities, microservices, and serverless applications on AWS.
    • Enhance legacy software through refactoring, test automation, etc.
    • Adopt DevOps practices to optimize the software development process.

    Collaboration

    • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
    • Work independently and collaboratively with team members to solve issues.

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in developing Python applications.
    • Ability to debug existing code independently.
    • Proficiency in writing and troubleshooting SQL queries.
    • Familiarity with front-end technologies like Angular or React.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and communication abilities.

    Nice to have

    • Startup experience.
    • Knowledge of low-code platforms like Workato.
    • Test automation development experience.
    • Front-end technology expertise (e.g., React).
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or GCP.
