Summary


Administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally as well as overseeing the full lifecycle of an employee from onboarding to offboarding.

Strategic partner with all of management and executive team.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Identifies legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
  • Acts as quality control for timesheet reviews and approvals; acts as a point person for all timecard/Trinet related issues.
  • Approves Temp. timesheets and ensures accurate timekeeping.
  • Provide HR metrics to management and executive teams on a regular basis and help determine if results align with company goals and values.
  • Coordinate interviews and assist with the hiring process.
  • Responsible for the full employee life cycle from onboarding to offboarding
  • Update and manage employee physical and digital personnel files.
  • Keeps records of benefits plans participation such as insurance and pension plan, personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations, and employee statistics for government reporting.
  • Coordinates management training in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and sexual harassment.
  • Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
  • Administers benefits programs such as life, health, dental and disability insurances, pension plans, vacation, sick leave, leave of absence, and employee assistance.
  • Investigates accidents, prepares reports for PEO/Insurance Carrier, files Workers Compensation claims, follows up with claims, and ensures compliance with work restrictions.
  • Coordinate antiharassment training for new hires.
  • Process and coordinate Leave of Absence requests.
  • Assist in company policy creation and handbook updates.
  • Record employee information such as personal data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews or evaluations, and termination date and reason.
  • Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
  • Prepares monthend reports and recommends procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.
  • Plan inhouse and offsite activities, like yearend celebrations.
  • Creates employee programs to promote wellbeing in the workplace.
  • Conducts ergonomic evaluations and manages/recommends ergonomic supplies for employees.
  • Maintain and improve retention rates for employees through appropriate total compensation, recognition, and communication of key benefits.
  • Develop and strengthen company culture.
  • Partner with finance and managers to ensure correct and timeline payroll distributions.
  • Partner with finance, hiring managers and benefits providers to ensure appropriate dispensation of benefits and access to total compensation programs.
  • Analyze data and develop reports to evaluate human capital trends for productivity, retention, and other key human capital KPIs,
  • Participate in periodic executive and departmental meetings, reporting on key HR matters, risks and opportunities.
