EVRAZ NA is currently seeking a Production Planner to join our team. The Production Planner will be responsible for production scheduling, creating manufacturing orders, raw material replenishment and coordinating production for our Seamless mill in Pueblo, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and monitor production of customer orders through plant processes
• Assist with day-to-day production schedule based on changes in customer requirements, production limitations and raw material availability
• Monitor, manage and accurately report the forecast and actuals for physical inventory levels to include the ordering of billets for production
• Responsible for monthly planning cycle for projecting sales and developing baseline plans
• Facilitate negotiations/resolutions between production, sales, shipping and other departments
• Manage and review planning reports for key performance indicators.
• Ensure all procedures are regularly reviewed and updated and done so in accordance with established quality policies and company guidelines as well as develop new procedures as necessary to support added functions and responsibilities of the role and department

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or other related field preferred
• 1-2 years related experience in a scheduling/planning role in a manufacturing environment, preferably in tubular products and/or steel mill operations
• Proficient in managing and analyzing various levels of supply chain processes (e.g., capacity planning, raw material planning, inventory planning, shipping and logistics)
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to deal with opposing opinions and effect in reaching a compromise
• Ability to proficiently work with spreadsheets and word processing applications, Microsoft Office preferable
• APICS certification preferred

Compensation

• $ 60,000 - $ 70, 000

Open & Closing Dates: 03/06/2024 – 04/22/2024
