Quality Inspector - Springfield, United States - CRRC MA
Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with production the daily required inspection assignments, activities and resources.
- Implement vision and strategy to support operations delivering right first time, in line with overall quality, strategy and policy.
- Ensure that appropriate verification and validation methods are applied so that operational processes are defined, followed and monitored.
- Execute the plan for builtin quality maturity growth and ensures everything is in place so that products leave the assembly site in perfect quality condition.
- Ensure the conformity of the manufactured product, manage receiving inspection, manage nonconformities, and establish project related acceptance criteria.
- Monitor and reports status of QC inspections to Quality Lead and Quality Management.
- Acts as liaison between internal and external customers; in China and Quality Representatives in CRRC MA.
- Maintain positive and professional communication with colleagues, vendors, and customers at all times.
- Perform related tasks as assigned.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
- BS degree preferred; high school degree mandatory.
- Close collaboration with Tech Services, the manufacturing area and the continuous improvement area.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office
- Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Excellent time management and organization skills. Capable to work with Minimum Supervision.
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred either upon hiring or within 6months of date of hire.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
- Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
- Ability to travel internationally.
Pay:
$58, $63,000.00 per year
