In anticipation of a contract award, Tantus Technologies, Inc.

(Tantus) - recognized by the Washington Post as a Top Workplace - is seeking a SAP SME for BRP to support a Federal Client.

You will collaborate with the Federal Government Client's business users and stakeholders to understand their requirements, identify pain points, and assess opportunities for process improvement and automation within the SAP landscape.

You will be responsible for leading the analysis, design, and optimization of business processes within the SAP ecosystem, ensuring alignment with the client's strategic objectives and compliance with federal regulations.

This critical role requires a deep understanding of SAP modules, strong business acumen, and the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across various levels.

(USDA or FDA experience is preferred).


What You'll Do

  • Lead the design and optimization of SAP S/4HNANA business processes, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, federal mandates, and the client's business objectives. Identify opportunities for standardization, streamlining, and automation.
  • Plan and lead functional team and design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Lead Fittostandard solution design sessions and drive understanding of the gaps and mitigation options.
  • Lead Configuration of SAP S/4HANA modules processes across all functional domains (FI, FM, GL, AP, AR, GM, Procurement, etc).
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including business analysts, developers, and system administrators, to implement SAP solutions that address the client's business process requirements. Ensure adherence to project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards.
  • Develop and execute change management strategies to drive user adoption and minimize resistance during the implementation of new business processes. Provide training and support to endusers to ensure successful transition and ongoing system utilization.
  • Ensure that the SAP solutions implemented align with federal government regulations, including data privacy, security, and accessibility standards. Collaborate with IT security teams to mitigate risks and address vulnerabilities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including federal government officials, project sponsors, and business users. Engage in regular communication to provide updates, manage expectations, and address concerns or issues.
  • Stay abreast of the latest SAP functionalities, industry trends, and federal regulations related to business processes. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, innovation, and optimization within the SAP ecosystem.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) as a Business Process Lead or Consultant in SAP implementations, specifically within the Federal Government domain at a Federal Client, USDA or FDA experience is preferred.
  • Deep knowledge of SAP modules relevant to federal government processes, such as
    SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP Funds Management, SAP Procurement, SAP HR, and SAP Workflow.
  • Strong understanding of federal government regulations, compliance standards, and reporting requirements and experience working in a Federal Environment with a Federal Client.
  • Proven experience in leading business process analysis, design, and optimization initiatives within SAP implementations.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to translate business requirements into efficient and effective SAP solutions.
  • Excellent analytical, problemsolving, and decisionmaking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including senior leadership.
  • Must successfully complete a Background Investigation (Green Card Holder or U.S. Citizenship is a requirement).

  • Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (Green Card Holder or U.S. Citizenship is a requirement)
