Overview:
Wage Range: $30.22-$44.98/hourly
DEFINITION OF POSITION:Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, this position functions as a Human Resource Generalist for the Human Resources Department. The Generalist works in the areas of benefits administration, employee orientation, compensation, policies and procedures, job description preparation, the hiring process, office organization and employee record keeping. .
Qualifications:QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION: High school Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis on office skills. College degree preferred.
B. EXPERIENCE: Minimum 24 months experience working in Human Resources and college course work
C. REQUIRED SKILLS:Understanding of basic functions of a computer network and software includingWord, Excel and Medi-tech, Excellent telephone etiquette skills, Fax/Copy Machine, Type a minimum speed of 50 wpm accurately. Excellent knowledge of English, punctuation, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skill. Familiarity with Employment law and Human Resource policies.
