Lavner Education Headquarters, 201 Sabine Avenue, Narberth, PA 19072, with travel to camp locations across the United States as needed


Job Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5:45 pm


Job Dates:
June to August, there is some flexibility in the specific weeks


Pay Rate:
$1,200/week + $200 bonus/week if all work dates are completed

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


Program Operations

  • Provide programmatic support at the national headquarters in the form of customer service, operations, and supporting sites remotely.
  • Ability to travel and serve as a substitute camp director at locations across the country on an asneeded basis. Travel expenses are included (travel, accommodations, meals, etc.).
  • Continually ensure that summer camp locations are maintaining excellence in program standards and staff are delivering a fun and engaging experience to all students.
  • Support the operations department with inventory, logistics, and student projects.
  • Help ensure the successful delivery of all camp programs and curricula through status reports and checkins with assigned camp locations.
  • Monitor seasonal staff performance and provide timely feedback for your camp locations.
  • Manage logistics such as lunch orders, inventory and supplies, and staff schedules.
  • Be a positive role model, and arrive each day with an inclusive, professional, and upbeat attitude.

Customer Service

  • Document, review, and make requested changes to customer accounts using support desk ticketing system and camp management software
  • Develop valuable relationships with clients by identifying their needs and assisting in troubleshooting and/or resolving issues with empathy, professionalism, and patience
  • Utilize your institutional and experiential knowledge to problemsolve and make educated, informed decisions when challenges arise

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Must have experience working with children in an educational role
  • Minimum age 25 years or older by summer
  • Able to travel on short notice
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Experience and comfort with technology and related areas
  • Camp and leadership experience preferred
  • CPR certification and First Aid training must be completed prior to the start of summer
  • Willingness to perform all job duties with enthusiasm and a positive outlook
  • Deep appreciation for teamwork and drive to be part of a highlevel team
  • Required clearances, or ability to obtain them prior to start date. Lavner Education will reimburse employees for the costs of the clearances if they need to be obtained.
