As a
Operations Supervisor, you will:


  • Manage day-to-day inventory and supply ordering
  • Schedule preventive maintenance/vehicle repairs and liaise with the Fleet Manager to address vehicle issues
  • Maintain organized and current station files and manuals
  • Handle scheduling, hiring, evaluation, management, and disciplinary actions concerning station employees
  • Ensure timely submission of timesheets and other payroll documentation
  • Lead, guide, and assist in training lowerlevel personnel and/or students as assigned
  • Administer basic life support treatment to patients within EMT scope of practice
  • Perform CPR, administer oxygen, and provide glucose as necessary
  • Safely operate and maintain emergency vehicles in compliance with relevant laws during patient transportation
  • Deliver competent patient care in prehospital and interfacility settings
  • Maintain professional interactions with healthcare personnel and patients, including those with disabilities or injuries
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment
  • Accurately document required information in EMS charts, including PCRs, vehicle inspections, and inventory checks
  • Assist other EMS providers in delivering care
  • Provide verbal or written reports to higher healthcare facilities
  • Ensure cleanliness of equipment and replace used or damaged supplies
  • Adhere to company and local agency policies, procedures, and protocols for emergency treatment and transportation
  • Attend refresher programs and continuing education sessions as required by the medical director
  • Maintain a professional, courteous, and ethical demeanor

Requirements for the position are:


  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Basic Life Support certification
  • CPR & First Aid certification
  • Current state Paramedic Certification
  • Valid driver's license
  • Active EMT-B, EMT-I, or Paramedic certifications in the state
  • National Registry Paramedic or EMT Certification
