What You Will Do

The Security Officer II directly provides security related services to the Sharp HealthCare facilities, staff, volunteers and patients and also functioning as a crime deterrent.

Required Qualifications

  • Current California Security Guard Card
  • Valid CA Driver's License
  • Demonstrates clean driving record in accordance with requirements of the employer DMV pull notice program and Sharp HealthCare Driver Guidelines.
  • Ability to utilize resources in an organized manner.
  • Basic knowledge of penal codes.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer relations skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • H.S. Diploma or Equivalent
  • College course in Criminal Justice, Sociology, and Psychology desirable.
  • Law enforcement, Military or prior security experience in a healthcare setting
