Are you looking to join a quality-oriented supply chain team? Do you have experience in the medical technology industry? Then join us as a Strategic Purchaser in Baden-Württemberg at Johnson Village.

Your responsibilities:

  • Take over and manage purchasing of product categories and corresponding suppliers
  • Collaborate and support in the development, coordination, and implementation of purchasing strategies for the relevant product categories and supplier relationships
  • Solicit and evaluate offers, as well as conduct comparisons of supplier conditions, quantities, and prices
  • Identify potential cost optimization opportunities and implement corresponding measures
  • Lead price and contract negotiations, as well as conclude framework agreements
  • Evaluate and manage current suppliers, including defining and implementing measures for supplier development
  • Conduct relevant master data maintenance in the ERP system
  • Actively participate in purchasing projects (product improvements, optimization processes, etc.)

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed studies (technical or commercial) or a comparable qualification
  • Experience in purchasing, material group management, or supply chain management
  • Commercial understanding, as well as knowledge of procurement processes and legal framework
  • Willingness to travel (10-20%) to customers and suppliers
