Your Role:

Lead Feed My Starving Children (FMSC)'s supply chain functions. Oversee domestic supply chain, logistics, planning, purchasing, and inventory management. Provide vision and leadership, and direct strategy development. Oversee department budgeting and expense control.


Pay, Schedule, & Benefits:


  • This is a fulltime, exempt (salaried) position. Typical work schedule is Monday
  • Friday during daytime business hours. Occasional nights and weekends may be required. Up to 20% annual expensespaid international/domestic travel is required.

What You'll Do:


  • Direct department strategy development and execution. Oversee logistics, materials planning, procurement, inventory management, production planning, forecasting, data analysis, and expense control.
  • With FMSC's Executive Team, contribute to organizational strategy and goalsetting, risk management, and growth planning. Align supply chain goals and objectives with FMSC's strategic plan.
  • Direct the selection, hiring, development, and evaluation of assigned personnel. Provide direction and assistance to direct reports to achieve established goals. Act as a coach in their overall development and performance evaluation.
  • Oversee negotiations, vendor relationship management, and vendor audits.
  • Collaborate with International Programs and Manufacturing teams on crossfunctional projects, ex. product enhancements and reformulation, expansion planning, warehouse space requirements and layout planning, data analysis and modeling, etc.
  • Direct the process generation and maintenance of materials requirement planning. Ensure suitable inventory levels at manufacturing plants and mobile events. Oversee inventory turnover planning and reconciliation.
  • Oversee the maintenance and improvements of assigned software and systems in collaboration with IT.
  • Direct the annual Supply Chain Department budgeting process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications:


  • Commitment to support, promote and authentically communicate about FMSC's Christian mission and goals.
  • Minimum of bachelor's degree and 10 years of progressively responsible experience in supply chain, business, operations or related field required. In lieu of degree, relevant experience will be considered.
  • Demonstrated experience with successful negotiations required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP databases required.
  • Able to establish strategic direction, evaluate urgency, make sound decisions, and accomplish objectives.
  • Demonstrated servant leadership and relationshipbuilding skills. Able to lead with energy, passion, and urgency.
  • Enthusiastic collaborator with diverse people groups: those varying in beliefs, abilities, nationalities, races, languages, and backgrounds.
  • Able to prioritize, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in fastpaced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with high level of attention to detail, accuracy, and followthrough.
  • Exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to travel domestically/internationally up to 20% annually. Travel at times is to remote and securitydifficult areas.

Your Team:


  • Work location: MN (Chanhassen, Coon Rapids, Eagan), IL (Aurora, Libertyville, Schaumburg), AZ (Mesa) or TX (Richardson). Position will have flexible/hybrid work schedule that allows for both office and remote work, though some locations may be fully remote dependent on space availability.
