Our services span managed IT services, networking, A/V, life safety, surveillance, and more, as well as low-voltage construction and design services. We have offices in Alpharetta GA, Estero FL, and Raleigh NC with major clients all over the country.

    Job Summary:

    The MSP Projects Manager is responsible for driving multiple client IT projects as well as internal IT initiatives. Reporting directly to the CTO, the PM will directly interface with clients, Softrim's outsourced/virtual IT Directors and cross functional delivery and support teams. Project types are widely varied and generally include: SharePoint, cloud migrations, Wi-Fi buildouts, VoIP installs, Telecom/ISP upgrades, desktop replacements, line-of-business software deployments, mergers/acquisitions, BPO.

    Responsibilities:

    • Integrate with the Client stakeholders and Softrim cross-functional teams to lead and communicate the status of projects
    • Write scopes for proposals and project plans
    • Plan and convey resource needs to internal department heads
    • Implement Project Management tools within MS365/SharePoint/Teams
    • Assist the Softrim team of virtual IT Directors in project management
    • Understand the contractual, financial, and relationship arrangements of the projects
    • Ensure the overall momentum, timely execution, and quality of project deliverables
    • Monitor progress and predict potential blockers
    • Apply experience and innovative thinking to produce solutions
    • Create and maintain project documentation from inception through completion
    • Ensure technical documentation is submitted to the company knowledge base by the project SMEs
    • Plan and confirm user acceptance testing
    • Identify and communicate out-of-scope items and opportunities

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field of study
    • At least 5 years of IT Project Management experience
    • Experience in managing Microsoft 365 projects involving SharePoint, Exchange Online, and Teams (preferred)
    • Experience in managing cloud, infrastructure, and VoIP projects (preferred)
    • Travel to client locations as needed

    Supervisor: Reports directly to CTO.

    Employment Terms: Full-time, Exempt, Salary. In-Office. Eligible for benefits (medical, dental, vision, life, AD&D, disability) and 401(k) after introductory period. Typical business hours are 8am-5pm, Monday thru Friday, excluding company-observed holidays. Some weekend and after-hours work is required, as well as some travel.
