Brand new physician owned medical practice seeks reliable team member

Must be friendly and engaging while welcoming patients and performing front desk functions.
_Previous experience in a medical practice and Bilingual in Spanish a Plus_

The front desk receptionist will perform routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work in answering telephones, receiving the public, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record-keeping.

• Interact appropriately with patients and record information while greeting, checkingin, checkingout or scheduling appointments for patients.
• Utilize computer programs to add new patients, check patients in and out, print out relevant forms for processing, and schedule appointments.
• Handling incoming calls, taking detailed and accurate messages, and ensuring messages are directed to the appropriate individual.
• Clearly communicate information to our patients, visitors and staff.
• Verify patient insurance via phone or website and collect any necessary payment for services.
• Updating patient EHR as needed.
• Room in & prepare patients for visits
• Assist in the examination and treatment of patients
• Helping organize and maintain office common areas.
• Maintain supply inventory and alert the manager when supply is low.
• Aiding patients as needed.

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
