The division chief will be responsible for actualizing our tripartite mission clinical care, education, and research-as it relates to general anesthesiology or anesthesiology within subspecialty areas of practice.
Collaborating with medical directors to lead clinical operations to ensure consistently high-quality patient care with efficient and innovative use of clinical and material resourcesPromoting effective collaborations among divisional faculty and other clinical and research faculty across campus
Facilitating undergraduate and graduate medical education
Recruiting new faculty to the division and supporting their career development
Developing innovative scholarship in multidisciplinary anesthesia
Protected administrative time to support goal-directed personal and division-related professional development
NIH-funded Institute for Clinical and Translational Science, which includes collaboration with investigators from all 11 colleges on campus
