Stieper GmbH & Co. KG is a modern building materials retailer with traditional roots, founded in 1888 in Nortorf by Heinrich Stieper. Today, the company employs more than 50 employees and successfully operates a building materials retailer and a hagebaumarkt at two locations in Nortorf.

For our building materials store in Nortorf, we are looking for a trainee for the position of wholesale and foreign trade management assistant.

A solid opportunity - What to expect

  • You will learn how to professionally advise and support our commercial and private customers. For this, we will provide you with all the necessary knowledge about our range of building materials. You can look forward to exciting training sessions with other trainees from the company.
  • You will learn how to process inquiries and orders from our customers, determine prices, and carry out calculations in order to create offers.
  • You will acquire knowledge about our target group, sales areas, and distribution channels, and learn how to plan and implement marketing measures.
  • You will gain insights into the planning of warehouse logistics: what to consider when delivering goods, how to monitor inventory levels, and how to conduct an inventory.
  • In addition, you will gain insights into accounting, material procurement, and purchasing.
