The Graphic Designer will help tells visuals stories that are engaging and informative. They will develop graphics and layouts to support internal and external marketing and communication strategies, initiatives and programs. Projects may include print and/or digital collaterals, newsletters, programs, business cards, templates and signage. Will support and participate in print shop operations, including print, signage operations and customer follow-up. Ensures all design and print work meets brand standards.


_ Essential Responsibilities:
_


Provides graphic design support to Marketing and Communications division to produce materials that effectively communicate strategic and operational information in a timely manner.


In alignment with corporate brand standards, develop concepts and execute content using brand color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.

Manage the design and uploading process for all project materials, using a digital asset management system

Formatting graphics as well as collecting, processing and proofing various graphics files

Following a product workflow and timeline to ensure projects progress in a timely manner

Obtains approval of concepts by preparing rough layouts for review


Obtains final copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment and by making purchases from vendors when required.


_ Qualifications and Skills:

Work on a wide range of projects and media, using various software programs to visualize and develop innovative graphic designs that meet goals.

Work independently as well as cooperatively with marketing team to meet deadlines and schedule project implementation based on workload

Update and maintain internal databases for designs, photography, and video

Creativity and attention to detail

Two or more years of experience (academic and/or professional) with design software, including Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Dreamweaver

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Preferred skills and qualifications

Three or more years of experience in professional graphic design

Associates degree (or equivalent) in graphic design, art, or related discipline

Photography experience and proficiency with photo-editing software
