Job Duties
The incumbent will be responsible for performing regularly scheduled maintenance and mechanical repairs to combustible engines and related electrical and safety equipment on motorized vehicles for the Southside Campus to ensure vehicle dependability, safety and to maximize useful life.
Must have a working knowledge of diagnostic and repair techniques and procedures as related to a wide variety of motorized diesel and gasoline equipment.
Knowledge, skills, and ability to use hand tools, power tools, and vehicle lifts during the course of repairs as needed.
Comprehend technical information from repair manuals in repairing equipment. Ability to perform heavy manual labor as needed during repair of vehicles. Basic computer knowledge required.Additional Considerations
Must have a valid Driver's License
Documented training and work experience in the maintenance and repair of vehicles and motorized equipment must be shown in the application.
