Summary/Objective
The Quality Safety Representative (QSR) is responsible for implementing safety procedures and regulations in the workplace to prevent potential hazards and delays in everyday work operations.
Essential Functions

- Provide safety and compliancerelated training.
- Prepare and lead weekly safety meetings.
- Prepare and lead daily Job Safety Analysis (JSA) meetings.
- Manage training and certifications for employees.
- Perform site specific safety orientations.
- Provide job oversight during work operations.
- Perform safety observations and knowledge, skills, and ability (KSA) performance profiles.
- Review and implement safety manuals.
- Ensure company is compliant with OSHA standards and regulations.
- Maintain OSHA recordkeeping.
- Complete and/or supports incident investigation for all incidents such as injury/illness, first aid, near miss, property damage, OSHA recordable/reportable, lost time, and fatality.
- Perform additional duties as requested by Management.

Supervisory Responsibility
This role ensures that all contractors/employees working in the field follow safety guidelines by performing periodic on-site visits.
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment including copy machines, TVs, video projectors, and printers

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. This employee is expected to work 8 hours per day. Overtime may occasionally be required.
Travel
This position requires some travel, up to 75%.
Required Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Safety or related degree accepted. (Years of experience may be accepted in place of a degree on a casebycase basis.)
- Moderate level of computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat/PDFs ability to edit and create, scanning)
- Ability to learn new skills within a time limit set by management.
- Five years' experience in the oil and gas industry
Preferred Education and Experience
- Five years' experience in the oil and gas industry
- Two years' experience as a safety trainer, safety manager or other safetyrelated role
