Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist to join our team.
The Inventory Specialist will be responsible for managing inventory levels, conducting demand planning, and ensuring accurate stock levels to support operations.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts
- Coordinate with suppliers to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory movements
- Conduct demand planning to anticipate stock needs
- Manage order fulfillment processes to meet customer demands
- Implement process improvements to enhance inventory management efficiency
- Utilize data visualization tools to analyze inventory data
- Collaborate with the sales team to support product sellthrough
- Operate forklift equipment for stock movement when necessary
- Maintain effective supplier relationships and negotiate contracts
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in inventory management or related field
- Familiarity with ecommerce inventory systems is a plus
- Strong knowledge of demand planning principles
- Proficiency in process improvement techniques
- Ability to operate forklift equipment safely and efficiently
- Experience in supplier management and contract negotiations
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Job Type:
Contract
Pay:
$ $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
Experience:
- Inventory control: 1 year (required)
- Hospital environment: 1 year (preferred)
Ability to Commute:
- Newport Beach, CA required)
