    Tarkett is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team.

    This is a strategic position that utilizes data mining, big data, analytics, data science and visualization tools to generate unique and creative points of view that help advance a holistic and statistically driven view of market dynamics.


    This position will be responsible for providing analytic insight and reporting in support of our sales teams and business leaders to help improve our understanding of the business and aid decision making.

    The position will also interface with the sales team to develop and maintain forecasts and pipeline.
    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
    Sales Analytics
    The Analyst's primary focus is developing financial and operational reports, dashboards, and visualizations within Power BI and Excel
    Design and develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Microsoft Power BI and Excel, enabling data-driven insights, and reporting capabilities.
    Build and maintain data models to ensure the accuracy and relevancy of the data. Manage database performance, security, and integrity.
    Execute the master data management strategy for the business unit.
    Oversee data extraction, transformation, and loading from various sources into a usable form for business analysis.
    implement row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI
    Create user manuals for BI tools and train users.
    Provide ad hoc support to the Sales teams and other business functions.
    REQUIREMENTS (including educational requirements)
    Bachelor's degree in information systems, statistics, or mathematics preferred.
    2+ years experience creating interactive dashboards, designing engaging infographics, and writing compelling data narratives, specifically with Microsoft Power BI, Power Query, and Excel
    Highly proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel data functions including Pivot Tables, Power Pivot, Power Query, macros, VBA, etc.
    Proficient in data query languages, specifically SQL
    Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
    Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
