Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Summer Camp Counselors. As a counselor, you will play a pivotal role in providing a fun, safe, and enriching experience for campers. You will lead activities, ensure camper safety, and foster a positive environment that encourages personal growth and social development.


Key Responsibilities:

Supervision and Safety: Oversee the daily activities and general welfare of campers. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

Activity Planning and Facilitation: Plan, organize, and lead a variety of camp activities including sports, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, and team-building exercises.

Camper Engagement: Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere. Engage with campers to promote participation, encourage teamwork, and build self-esteem.

Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts among campers in a constructive manner. Promote positive interactions and respect among campers.

Role Modeling: Serve as a positive role model by demonstrating appropriate behavior, good sportsmanship, and leadership skills.

Daily Reporting: Maintain accurate records of camper attendance, incidents, and progress. Communicate effectively with camp management and parents as needed.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow counselors and camp staff to ensure a cohesive and smooth-running program.


Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years or older. Ability to pass a backgroundcheck.
• Previous experience working with children is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and participate in recreational activities

Experience:

• Childcare: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

• First Aid Certification (required)
• CPR Certification (required)

Ability to Commute:
