Job Summary:
Performs administrative support for the Assistant and Associate Deans of the Graduate Professional Programs.

The Program Coordinator plays the critical role of being the front-facing representative to the BBA, BAOL, MBA and MAOL programs.


Salary:

Pay range $ $25.85

Job Description:


RESPONSIBILITIES- Provide exemplary customer service to students, guests, current and prospective stakeholders, and PLNU faculty and staff.- Coordinate with the deans and student success as needed for program advising, course transfers, course substitutions or other issues.- Oversee the onboarding of new students and assist in developing new ways to prepare students for the programs.- Communicate program information, historical facts, event details, and other resources while directly and/or indirectly communicating the FSB's mission, vision, and values.- In partnership with the deans, oversee the planning, coordinating, communication, and/or execution of student-focused events and presentations at assigned community college campuses, Mission Valley, or other locations, including information sessions, classroom visits, community college events, and outreach events to promote PLNU programs.- Coordinate with other departments and staff as needed including admissions and marketing to support these events Identify ways to improve student satisfaction.

Support programs and activities for enhanced student experience and satisfaction.- Maintain relationships with the deans, faculty members, and upper administration at the community colleges.- Manage the Mission Valley campus space to ensure that it functions in support of the faculty and students, including supplies, snacks, cleanliness, organization and staffing.- Support the recognition of GPS students including student of the year, Delta Mu Delta and graduation events.- Maintain supplies of program "swag" that are used to recognize and thank guest speakers, alumni, students and prospective students.- Manage the budgets for the programs to ensure that expenditures are within budgetary allocation.- Provide administrative support to the undergraduate and graduate curriculum committees and other committees as assigned that impact GPS programs.- Provide overall administrative support for the program and deans, including processing invoices, purchasing merchandise, maintaining records, manuals, and documents, and providing research support as necessary.


QUALIFICATIONS- Two years of administrative experience, including core competencies in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint preferred.- A positive attitude and professional work ethic.

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

Team player.- Undergraduate degree preferred.- Excellent writing and communications skills.- Demonstrated skill in working with diverse populations.- Accuracy and a strong attention to detail.- Ability to multitask and work in an environment of frequent interruptions.- Excellent time management skills.- Social media and graphic design skills a plus- Ability to travel between multiple educational sites.- Evidence of Christian commitment and active church involvement.
