Key Responsibilities:
- Dispatch of orders and/or truck moves
- Working with owner operation carriers
- Develop and maintain excellent customer service to internal and external customers
- Accountable for on time service
- Coordinate with shipper and receiver to ensure shipments are received/delivered
- Communicate with other stations with status updates of shipments
- Complete tasks as assigned and resolve day to day problems
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must be extremely detailoriented, multitasking is a must
- One to three years of intermodal dispatch experience required
- Knowledge of Port Terminal websites preferred
- Microsoft office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) experience preferred
- Effective oral and written communication skills required
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Strong work ethic
Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour
