For the winter semester 2024/25, we are looking to fill a professorship (m/f/d) in the field of Social Work at the Nuremberg campus of the IU International University in a full-time or part-time capacity, starting on [date].


Your responsibilities:

  • You will represent the field of Social Work in teaching and research in the practiceintegrated Bachelor's program and work with us to train the new generation of professionals (for more insights, please refer to the module handbook).
  • You will create and lead lectures and be responsible for the individual support of our dual students during their exams and when writing their final theses.
  • You will provide practical and wellfounded basic knowledge in the field of Social Work and be able to train our students in areas such as managing social institutions, child and youth welfare, working with adults and vulnerable groups.
  • You will be involved in the creative development of teaching formats within the didactic concept of the IU for the dual study program and further develop it in collegial cooperation.
