    Accounts Receivable Cash Application Specialist

    Job Summary:


    Responsible for various accounts receivable duties including posting cash & credit card payments for B2B and B2C transactions, handling credit card disputes and refunds.

    Research and clear B2C freight tax issues & bank chargebacks. Process other credit and debit memos, check refunds. Research payment discrepancies and notify analysts. Update reporting and other duties as assigned.


    Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

    • Post and apply cash, ACH, wires and checks.
    • Create debit and credit memos
    • Apply adjustments/spreads
    • Provide other AR related duties as assigned
    • Research payment to ensure proper applications as required
    • Contact customer if necessary

    Job Qualifications:

    • Minimum of 1-2 years' clerical experience
    • AR experience
    • Cash app experience
    • Chargebacks
    • Cash posting
    • Credit & Debit Memo Processing.
    • B2C and B2B customer platforms helpful
    • Excellent customer service skills.
    • Demonstrated experience in MS Office Suite, Excel and JD Edwards software is a plus.
    • Good written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate information with finesse to internal/external audiences

    Education:
    High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
