    Position Overview:


    As a Financial Analyst with Costpoint experience, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting decision-making processes within our organization.

    You will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Costpoint software and its applications in financial analysis and reporting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Financial Analysis:
    Utilize Costpoint software to analyze financial data and performance metrics, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
    Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies and trends, and provide recommendations for improvement.

    Budgeting and Forecasting:
    Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts, incorporating Costpoint data and financial projections.
    Monitor budget performance and provide regular updates to management on variances and potential risks.

    Cost Accounting:
    Maintain and update Costpoint system data related to cost allocation, overhead rates, and indirect costs.
    Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in cost accounting practices.

    Financial Reporting:
    Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, using Costpoint data.
    Customize reports and dashboards in Costpoint to meet the specific needs of stakeholders and management.

    Process Improvement:
    Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization in financial management processes, leveraging Costpoint capabilities.
    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement system enhancements and best practices.

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
    6+ years of experience as a Financial Analyst, with proficiency in Costpoint software.
    Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
    Excellent knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
    $55 - $60 an hour
