We are a 202- bed acute hospital accredited by the joint Commission that offer a wide range of medical services including 24/7 emergency care, cardiology, wound care, surgical services, cardiac catheterization, and imaging.
The hospital is the on Certified Stroke Center, Accredited Chest Pain Center and labor and Delivery unit in the area.
In addition, Dallas Regional is the only Trauma Center for 13 miles and was the first accredited Geriatric Emergency Room in Dallas County.
The hospital os a recipient of Healthgrades Patient Safety Excellence Awards, 15 Healthgrades Five-Star rating over the past three years.
We offer:
The centralized scheduler is directly accountable to the Admitting Leadership the Centralized Scheduler routinely schedules tests/procedure cases for all patients where services occur as a scheduled event.
Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, Radiology, Respiratory Therapy, Nutritional Services, Infusion units or any other location where scheduling of a test or procedure may occur.
Coordinates with departments as necessary.Ensures that accurate, complete and thorough patient demographics are entered into the computer system, including insurance and authorizations if applicable.
Notifies departments as necessary of various services that may require, equipment, instrumentation and supplies from outside vendors for scheduled surgeries.
Prepares and distributes the surgical schedule and on call list to appropriate departments or personnel.#LI-MK3

Qualifications
Education and Work Experience
Knowledge of medical terminology. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Customer Services experience required. Strong clerical and computer skills.
