CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Director - Walmart Connect

Position Overview:


We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented CRM and Lifecycle Marketing Director to lead our B2B customer relationship management and lifecycle marketing initiatives at Walmart Connect among our various audiences.

This leadership role will be pivotal in shaping our future marketing strategies for personalized marketing at scale to our various audiences with the goal of acquiring new advertisers, optimizing customer engagement and results, and driving revenue growth.

We are seeking a strong and experienced CRM marketer to help build a robust and sophisticated CRM/Lifecycle marketing practice and team within a leading Retail Media Network.


Key Responsibilities:

CRM Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive CRM vision and strategy that maximizes customer acquisition, engagement, retention, and satisfaction. Leverage customer data and insights to create personalized experiences for our B2B audiences - with priority focus on third party (3P) Sellers (domestic and international) and new Emerging advertisers. Use targeted marketing & curated content to drive awareness, understanding and demand of Walmart Connect products, as well as how to plan, optimize and measure to drive sales at Walmart.

Lifecycle Marketing: Design and implement lifecycle marketing campaigns & drip campaigns from onboarding through repeat/consistent use
- ensuring relevant content and tools to support the customer through each stage of their journey (i.e., how-to videos and webinars, incentives, recommended strategies and tactics, choosing the right API/Tech partner, etc.). Develop effective segmentation strategies to tailor communications to each customer segment based on where they are in their journey.

Technology Integration: Collaborate with Tech and Product teams to evaluate and implement CRM and marketing automation tools that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Oversee customer database integration, hygiene and segmentation. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.

Data-Driven Insights: Utilize analytics and data-driven insights to continuously refine marketing strategies. Monitor KPIs and leverage insights to make informed decisions and optimizations.

Paid Media: Partner with Paid Media team to recommend paid media strategy and execution with digital media focus to achieve measurable results.

Team Leadership: Manage a team of talented marketers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence. Provide guidance in setting objectives, KPIs, and tracking progress.

Compliance and Ethics: Ensure all CRM and marketing activities comply with industry regulations and ethical standards, including data privacy and security.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field and 6 years' experience in marketing or a related field OR 8 years' experience in marketing or a related field.
years of experience working in CRM/Lifecycle Marketing for B2B.

  • Subject Matter Expert (SME) level of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce ecosystem including Salesforce Sales Cloud
  • Proven experience in building and executing datadriven CRM/Lifecycle Marketing strategies.
  • Excited to own and build a nascent CRM/Lifecycle Marketing practice within Walmart Connect.
  • Bestinclass communications skills; verbal & written.
  • Strong relationshipbuilding and internal client management. Skilled at navigating a highly matrixed, large, and complex organization.
  • Ability to glide seamlessly between multiple work streams with ease.
  • Ability to be thorough and thoughtful while still maintaining a very fast pace. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA or advanced degree
  • Retail media and/or digital media experience Experience dealing with results, metrics and data management and a desire to create and build new teams, tools and processes.

  • Hoboken, NJ
  • Hybrid Schedule, in the office 3 days a week (this is not a remote/virtual position)
