OB DESCRIPTION/REQUIREMENTS:


  • The PX Operator Must be able to work with mínimal supervision and follow written instruction and schedules.
  • Performs all duties associated with Poly Mold Line Operation to produce wire and/or cable to specification.
  • Uses independent judgment in planning and making decisions for sequence of setups operations.
  • Processes within best practice procedures and methods.
  • Ensure that all products meet specifications and the requirements defined by the Prysmian Group Quality Management System.
  • Completes all proper documentation i.e., tags, log books, required labor entries.
  • Must have basic math skills and ability to use SAP and SAP Quality Management programs.
  • Must have good English language verbal and written communication skills and works as part of team, communicates with relief shift.
  • You need to be active and responsible for shift 5S ownership program.
  • Maintains working area in a safe and orderly condition at all times.
  • Will be required to work overtime, be available to cover during coworkers' vacation or sick time.
  • Must be capable of lifting or moving 50 lbs. and occasionally lifting or moving 75 lbs., ability to distinguish colors.
  • Comply with all applicable safety procedures and ISO14001 EMS guidelines.
  • You will need to perform other duties as assigned by a member of management.
