This challenge awaits you:
As part of the electrification of vehicles, there are diverse areas of application for power electronic components. These include traction inverters, DC/DC converters, electrified auxiliary units from 48 to 900V, and chargers. New semiconductor materials and increasing cost pressure require holistic development of power electronic components.
Your tasks:
- You are responsible for the system development of inverters for traction drives or auxiliary units, DC/DC converters, on-board chargers, or battery management systems.
- You develop requirements at the system level.
- You perform simulation and model development for the mentioned applications.
- You coordinate power electronics design and testing.
- You are responsible for optimizing and further developing the tools used, as well as developing and synchronizing work processes.
- You create internal and external documentation and represent the results to the customer.
- You accompany the development until series deployment with necessary system-relevant releases/recommendations for release.
- You coordinate the coordination of internal interfaces with other departments such as control unit hardware development, software development, mechanical design, EMC, and testing.
Required skills:
- Completed degree in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Professional experience in the field of interaction of power electronic components in the drivetrain
