    Description

    An established drywall contractor is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The company specializes in ground-up commercial projects for major GC's in the metro area, prizing excellence and enthusiasm in their work. They are open to relocating the right candidate to work with them as they possess a strong backlog and engage in diverse projects.

    Job Summary:

    • Ensure overall estimate completeness/accuracy and project budget control
    • Perform conceptual and hard-bid estimating, quantity take-offs, and collaborate with owners/architects
    • Approve project proposals/bid packages before presentation
    • Lead client interactions for new projects and prepare rough budgets for repeat clients

    Requirements:

    • Minimum 5 years of experience in drywall contracting
    • Existing book of business
    • Background in commercial construction
    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • Expertise in various budgeting and estimating phases
    • Proficiency in estimating software, preferably OST
