What We Need:


We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join DFT as production planner to implement/create, modify and manage production schedules.

As a key part of the production process their responsibilities include monitoring inventory levels, regularly providing status updates and monitoring the production process to ensure that production orders are completed on time.


What You'll Do:


  • Develops manufacturing production orders in accordance with Material Requirement Planning (MRP) planned order requirements.
  • Develops standard and nonstandard reports; identifies issues, exceptions and variances and develops solutions to moderately complex issues; reviews processes and procedures to support business and regulatory agency requirements.
  • Interprets engineering change orders (ECO), implements dispositions affecting stock or work in progress.
  • Creates new process plans when no previous planning exists.
  • Alerts project management teams to deviation from established norms; develops and recommends solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.
  • Identify and assess production issues and develop solutions to meet productivity, quality and on time delivery.
  • Implement report based on findings and performance of production to maintain and manage deadlines based on contractual delivery dates.

Required Skills/Qualifications:


  • Typically requires a Bachelors in Business Administration or related discipline and five or more years of progressively complex experience in the project administration field with at least 5 of those years in project management. May substitute equivalent experience in lieu of education.
  • Must demonstrate an extensive understanding of planning and scheduling methods, and budget management as well as the ability to organize, schedule, and coordinate workloads to meet established milestones and budgets.
  • Must possess the ability to initiate, plan, and manage projects.
  • The ability to identify issues, analyze and interpret data and develop solutions to a variety of nonroutine matters of diverse scope and nature.
  • Strong analytical, communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and lead in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Technical certifications such as APICS preferred.
  • Familiarity with multidisciplinary engineering development organizations to include software, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineering.
  • Experience collaborating with or working within a product development organization.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft program management tools to include Power BI.
  • Intermediate excel knowledge.

Salary Range - $76,000 - $90,000 - The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
