Project CHELA, Early intervention specialists, help children with developmental delays by providing their parents and caregivers with strategies to help their children in a natural setting, the home, and the community, utilizing the _parent-as-coach approach_.
The early Intervention specialist will work with each family or caregiver to look at the challenges the child may face and provide specific positive strength-based strategies that will help each child and family reach their goals as outlined in the IFSP.

- Collect and analyze data related to student progress and behavior
- Implement intervention strategies based on data analysis
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized intervention plans
- Monitor and document student progress towards goals
- Provide direct instruction and support to students as needed
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of interventions and progress
Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
- Experience working with students with special needs or in an intervention role
- Knowledge of data collection methods and analysis techniques
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs
- Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
