"Spring into a new rewarding Infant Specialist Position with Project CHELA."


Project CHELA, Early intervention specialists, help children with developmental delays by providing their parents and caregivers with strategies to help their children in a natural setting, the home, and the community, utilizing the _parent-as-coach approach_.

The early intervention specialist is trained and specializes in the unique development of children 0-3 years of age.

The early Intervention specialist will work with each family or caregiver to look at the challenges the child may face and provide specific positive strength-based strategies that will help each child and family reach their goals as outlined in the IFSP.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect and analyze data related to student progress and behavior
  • Implement intervention strategies based on data analysis
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop individualized intervention plans
  • Monitor and document student progress towards goals
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students as needed
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of interventions and progress

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field
  • Experience working with students with special needs or in an intervention role
  • Knowledge of data collection methods and analysis techniques
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions based on individual student needs
  • Familiarity with special education laws and regulations
