Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee the calibration and maintenance of all measurement instruments and equipment.
  • Develop and implement calibration procedures and schedules based on industry standards and specific equipment requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including ISO and other quality management systems.
  • Analyze calibration data and prepare detailed reports on equipment and process accuracy.
  • Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to troubleshoot and resolve any equipment issues impacting product quality.
  • Manage calibration records and documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Research and recommend new calibration technologies and methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Calibrate and/or setup the following, but not limited to : Sine plates, Sine blocks, Gage blocks, Gage pins (standard Deltronic, IGP, RAD, etc.), Dyer gages, Swing gages, Bore gages, Thread gages, Dial depth gages, Diatests, Micrometers (OD and Depth), Mini mics, Air gages, Set rings, Intra mics, Angle irons, Cylindrical squares, Indicators, Wire gages, Cadillac gages, Height gages, Customer supplied inspection gages and fixtures, etc.
  • Required to pass the Certified Operator Program and maintain certification status.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

  • 2year Associate or High School diploma with minimum of 5 years of Gage Calibration experience
  • Advanced level MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong communication skills and understanding of technical terminology.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in calibration, metrology, or a similar role.
  • Indepth knowledge of calibration standards and quality management systems.
  • Proficient in using calibration software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience with ISO standards and other regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Prior experience in a technical or engineering environment.
